Sew Mama Sew Christmas Giveaway No 2.
Hello to those of you who have come here from the Sew Mama Sew Christmas Giveaway.
If you are reading this because you chose to become a follower after visiting from this giveaway, then thank you so much for joining. It is very much appreciated.
Today I am offering this selection of hand painted fabric packs which are perfect for any quilting, sewing and crafting projects.
Pack one has a fat 1/8th of summer sky,sunset sky and night sky fabric.
Pack two has a selection of blues, perfect for seas and skies in postcard or mini landscapes.
Pack three has a selection of greens that can be used for applique leaves or hillsides.
Pack 4 has a selection of coordinating pinks, perfect for hearts and flowers or to make a pieced background.
Closes on the 16th December.
All of the above are just suggestions, and if you still don't know what you would do with them there are more ideas over in my flickr gallery.

I want to do an art quilt though I actually haven't started yet - though it's more a special occasion quilt using the fabrics from that day to turn it into the scene of the event. At least that's the idea - weather I can convince the fabric to do what I want is another question all together. So maybe it's not an art quilt after all...

I'm still not convinced I should spend time on something that doesn't keep you warm when it's finished. However, I'd find a home for your gorgeous fabrics in a traditional quilt.

One of my favourite blogs to read Believe Magic does this really lovely art quilts and she's recently started selling kits (hers feature women doing different things or revealing different facets of their personalities), which I bought, so that I can try it out. I'm both excited and slightly terrified about the idea.
