May Journal Quilt

So after saying after last months JQ that I stopped myself from doing more hand stitching because of time constraints I spent this month doing nothing but that. It was done on a piece of cloth that has been languishing in a quiet corner for a long time, calling to me with it's pretty colours.

The white circles that I added are not very perceptible in these images but they acted as my guides in this slow stitched project.

I enjoy this slow hand stitching and would like to find the time to do something much bigger.
