bunting quilt

There is quite a long convaluting story to how this quilt came to be. I am primarily an art quilter and this type of quilt  with all it's straight lines and matching points is not my ususal style.

 However, somewhere along my creative travels I felt that had to be a way of doing a pieced Bunting block, that had movement to it.

    That is wonderful! I love that it has movement, and yet the colours are restful at the same time. Specially I like the touches of the bunting repeat in the binding--a great detail!
